CAREER BIO
Jama Jurabaev is a professional concept artist, illustrator and art director working for the movie and game industry in London, UK.
His work can be seen in such titles as BBC’s Prehistoric Planet, Star Wars: Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi,
Ready Player One, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and many others.
Most recently, he has been working on unannounced Star Wars Projects.

We are ecstatic to be offering masterclasses again this year, Our final masterclass of the year is with the amazingly talented Jama Jurabaev!
Jama will uncover his step-by-step process while working on film projects.
Starting from ideation, looking for original ideas and then finishing the concepts in 3D using Blender or Unreal Engine.

- Workshop Requirements
Hardware Requirements
- A laptop and drawing tablet (eg. Wacom and Huion have good drawing tablets) so that you can follow along, as we do not supply any equipment for our workshops.
- Please note that tablets are not suitable for this workshop due to the power & software requirements.
Software Requirements
- Adobe Photoshop
Alteratively you may wish to use another painting or drawing program such as Manga studio, Krita, Corel Painter, Heavypaint, or Gimp. - Blender
Blender is a free 3D Modelling, Animation & Rendering program. - Unreal Engine
Unreal Engine is available for free download through the Epic Games Store.
